Prof Mahjoob Zweiri is the Director of Gulf Studies Center. He is Professor in Contemporary Politics & History of the Middle East at Qatar University. Prof Zweiri has more than 85 publications in the areas of Iran and Contemporary Middle East History and Politics. In addition to Arabic, Dr Zweiri is fluent in Farsi and English.
